At AWA Scuba Tours, we are proud to offer the PADI Open Water Diver certification course in Playa del Carmen. This comprehensive 2 days course will teach you everything you need to know to become a confident and skilled scuba diver.
Our experienced and knowledgeable instructors will guide you through the course, which includes a combination of online learning, classroom sessions, pool training, and open water dives. You’ll learn the fundamental principles of scuba diving, including equipment selection and maintenance, dive planning, and underwater communication.
As part of the course, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore some of the world’s most beautiful underwater environments, including the colorful coral reefs and stunning cenotes of the Riviera Maya. Our small group sizes ensure that you receive personalized attention and guidance every step of the way.
Upon completion of the course, you’ll receive your PADI Open Water Diver certification, which is recognized worldwide. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, our PADI Open Water Diver course is the perfect way to take your scuba diving to the next level.

Day 1: – Pool classes, review of theory with your instructor and first 2 dives in Playa del Carmen reefs.
Day 2: Final review of theory with your instructor, last 2 dives in Playa del Carmen reefs and theoretical exam.

Es la primera vez que buceo en Cenotes y con Mauri fue todo excelente. Además de ser una persona muy amable y atenta es un excelente instructor y guía. Fui muy segura abajo del agua, no faltó nada y los lugares a los que nos llevó fueron hermosos tanto abajo del agua como arriba (cosa que era importante porque fui acompañada).
