The Cenote Zapote, a hidden gem along the famous Cenote Route, is just minutes away from the city of Puerto Morelos. This cenote, with its 55 meters of depth, is specially designed for advanced divers seeking a unique experience in the underwater world.
The unique morphology of the Zapote Cenote resembles an impressive bell, creating a spectacular setting for underwater adventurers. A small entrance hole leads to a deeper area, where a majestic vault is revealed, leaving visitors breathless. Remarkably, at approximately 30 meters deep, a tree lies preserved since the collapse of the ceiling, providing a visual testament to the unique history of this cenote.
Most notably, the Zapote Cenote is one of the few in the world that harbors bell-shaped speleothems that continue to grow to this day. These underwater rock formations offer a unique and dynamic visual spectacle, making this cenote a hidden gem for diving enthusiasts.

The Maravilla Cenote, located on the cenote route, reveals a small entrance from the surface that leads you to discover a vast underwater world. Just a few meters below, you’ll find yourself immersed in a spacious dome, with the thrilling experience of a suspended acid cloud at 30 meters depth, creating a unique atmosphere that will make you feel like you’re in space. It’s a recommended dive for advanced divers and an excellent option to combine with the Zapote cenote.

In case the weather conditions do not allow to carry out the activity, we can reschedule or refund 100% of your payment.
Your booking has a free cancellation policy up to 48 hours before your activity.
If you cancel between 48 hrs and 24 hrs you will be charged a 50% last minute cancellation fee.
If you cancel less than 24 hrs before your activity or you don’t show up on the day, you will be charged 100% of the booking.
